FAQs

1. Do you offer dry cleaning services?

   • No. Please ensure clothing has been dry cleaned or washed before dropping off to us.

2. Should I schedule an appointment or just stop by?​ We accept walk-ins for all regular wear  and formal wear clothing and dresses including bridesmaids, mother of bride/groom, groom tux/suits, and groomsmen.​

3. For Regular Wear Clothing & Accessories, Uniforms, Household/Seasonal Items, no appointment is necessary.

4. An appointment is required for Wedding Dresses only. A 50% deposit will be required at your first meeting.

5.  How much time is expected for Wedding/Formal Attire alterations?

   • Allowing 3 months for a Wedding Dress Customization is a good time frame. The process typically includes 2-5 fittings for the Bride. We do work with Brides to expedite rush orders and have met deadlines of 1 month turnaround time. Of course, the more time allocated to prepare the dress for such as special day, the better for all involved.

   • We offer rush services for wedding dresses for a rush fee if alterations are needed within 3-6 weeks. 

6.  How long does it take for basic alterations?

   • Typical turnaround time is a week for regular wear clothing and uniforms.

   • Please allow at least 2 weeks for household items such as cushions, curtains, and wall hangings, and seasonal specialties such as Halloween costumes.

   • We will give you an estimate of when the work will be complete when you drop off your clothes.

7. Do you offer rush services?

   • Yes. We may need to charge extra, at our discretion, with consideration to the time frame and complexity of the project.

   • Additional costs in the range of $25 – $50 is possible for Formal Attire expedited orders.

   • An $10 rush fee per item may be added for regular wear clothing to be completed quickly.

   • An $20-$50 rush may be added for formal wear clothing to be completed quickly.

8. What payment methods do you accept?

   • Cash, Business Checks, Mastercard, & Visa.
